| Bode Museum
Located at the end of the Museum Island on the River Spree in Berlin, the Bode Museum is located in a gorgeous building from 1904 built by Emperor Fredrick III. After a nearly 10 year hiatus in which the museum was closed for repairs, today it is once again open and houses sculptures, works from Byzantine masters, and coins and medals. Sculptures include works from the Middle Ages up to the 18th century. It is flanked by the spectacular Pergamon Museum and overlooks the Spree . |
