The family run Hotel Fortuna is just 20 minutes to Berlin centre and in the calm and tranquil district of Pankow, close to the hip and lively Prenzlauer Berg area. Prenzlauer Berg is one of the hippest areas in the city, and is what Mitte was several years ago, an area which attracts young artists and musicians, the bohemian area of Berlin. Little by little this is changing, but it’s laid back feel, its small boutiques and outdoor cafes on tree-lined streets, make this area a pleasant place to live and visit. ...more details > The Hotel Fortuna is small and basic but offers comforts. There is a shuttle-service from the airport or train station, laundry-service (guests give it in the morning and take it in the evening), room service, wake up call, taxi service and a packed lunch. There are singles, doubles, triples and quadruples and all the rooms are equipped with a shower, WC, TV and telephone. Children sleep free in bed of parents until 10 years. It is a bit outside the centre, but that doesn't matter because of excellent public transport in berlin. The owner of the hotel is very friendly and helpful. |
