3 star Hotel Alte Feuerwache is located close to Berlin centre in a beautiful, peaceful, green area just 15 minutes by public transport from the city centre and the famous Prenzauler Berg and Pankow districts. ...more details > Just 250 metres from the hotel, you will find a beautiful park with a lake and another lake 500 metres away where you can swim in the summer. This historical building was once a fire station and is a now a hotel boasting amenities such as an attractive restaurant with a terrace, private parking, a jogging track close by and a left-luggage room. Guests may choose from between 26 single, double and triple rooms (with a single bed and a double). All of the rooms benefit from private bathrooms, TV, radio, telephone, desk and views. The hotel offers a delicious buffet breakfast for 10€, children under 5 years of age sleep free of charge and pets are allowed. (Note: For animals up to 30 cm high there is a charge of 7.50€ per day and 10€ per day for larger animals.) We can recommend the breakfest as worth of its price.
The environment is silent. The hotel building is interesting. There is a tramstop very close to the hotel. Tram-tickets, like one day ticket, are available from the hotel.
Important to note that there are four streets with name Waldowstrasse in Berlin. We drove to that street given in Globetrotter Travel Guide's Berlin map. It became tricky, since the street had address numbers only from about 30 to 70. After we had bought a complete map and called the hotel, the correct Waldowstrasse 1 was reached without problem. |

Un buen hotel comunicado por tranvía a la torre en 10 minutos. Alrededor tiene super, lugares donde comer y lavandería. El desayuno no me gustó porque es muy diferente a lo que acostumbramos en nuestro pais. Con gusto regresaría nuevamente. El personal es muy amable y habla excelente inglés. Además está en la zona este de Berlín que me pareció más linda y limpia. |

Very clean, friendly staff. The tram M5 to go into City centre just across the road. Have to get ticket from machine inside the tram. It only takes coins. Food very good as well as the service. |
