Hoffmanns Hostel is a cheap, comfy and friendly little hostel in Berlin near the hip area of Prenzlauer Berg. The hostel is run by traveller and student, Ole Hoffmann, who has created a nice atmosphere for like-minded travellers. There are 4 double rooms where you can rent a single or share with a friend as a private room. All beds include fresh linens.
Although it’s close to the action, Hoffmanns Hostel is quiet and comfortable, off the beaten track of busy Berlin. There is a common area with cooking facilities and an outdoor garden area with table and chairs. There are also lockers in each room as well as a luggage storage area and a free parking space on the street. No curfew.
There is a bakery on the same block and 2 grocery stores within 2 blocks. If you need anything just ask Ole for help! (Please note credit cards are not accepted)

In Hoffmann*s Hostel gibt es einen sehr schönen großen Garten. Die Lage ist stadtnah, aber angenehm ruhig. Leider ist die Küche schlecht ausgerüstet.So gibt es z.B. keine Spüle und kein Wasser direkt in der Küche. Das macht das Kochen und Sauberhalten der Küche schwierig. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und bei Nachfrage kann man alles erhalten.

A very friendly couple runs this place, they were fun to talk to and let us have our way completely. We had the whole hostel-house to ourselves and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We played some table tennis and used the internet and we thought about how lovely the garden must be in summertime.
The accomodation is simple and straightforward, but welcoming. We could come home any time we wanted and knew that we wouldn't disturb anyone even at a late hour.
We'll be back!
