Although Karlshorst seems quiet, the neighbourhood offers visitors an alternative to the city centre with local shops, typically German restaurants and even tourist attractions such as the Russian Capitulation Museum. But, without doubt, the main highlight of the area is the Tiergatren Park itself. When you feel like going somewhere a little livelier, hop on a metro at the station located just 300 metres from the accommodation and arrive at the Brandenburg Gate in just half an hour, where you can enjoy a pleasant stroll among the Berliners. Go shopping at Alexanderplatz and if you feel like something a little more cultural, visit, for example, the impressive archaeological remains at the Pergamon Museum.
